In families, moms should assume the role of center of stability, security and consistency. Children learn from their parents by example. Yoga techniques teach us how to remain stable, focused, content and calm in challenging moments in life.
As difficult as it may seem, it is really important that parents, especially mothers, have time for themselves and that they do something that fulfills and enriches them. That way, when the children grow up and go their own way, the parents can continue to live a fulfilled life, creating it independently of others, including their own children.
